To be honest, I'm really not familiar with Mr. Zombie's musical work past "Astro-Creep:2000", but "More Human Than Human" can still get my lazy ass out of a seat to pump my fists with triumphant glory.
On the other hand, I think he has a lot of potential as a filmmaker. I wasn't a huge fan of his "Halloween" remake, but there are flashes of post-modern brilliance in his direction that makes me think he has a masterpiece ahead of him if he keeps it up.
And Herb, if anyone shouldn't be pegging me it's you--remember, I'm the tool who shows up at your shop in a dress shirt & pressed wool slacks & picks up a special order of Mayhem's "De Mysteriis dom Sathanas" :)
