As I've probably made quite obvious in other posts, my love of all things musical and cinematic has made me into quite the rock documentary fan. I've been kicking around the idea of holding a monthly screening at my place & just wanted to see if there is enough interest to justify doing it.
Here's the pros:
1) I've got a new kick-ass stereo & a near-deaf neighbor
2) I'm planning on buying a big flat-screen tv soon.
3) I have a pretty decent collection of rock docs (see below)
Here's the cons:
1) I live in South Burlington (by the airport), so it's a bit of a haul for the townies. I'd be happy to run shuttle to pick folks up though, but you'll have to find transport back.
2) I have two cats, so if you're allergic it sucks.
Here's a list of some of the docs I have in my collection. Let me know if there's anything in particular you'd like to see screened:

Feel free to recommend something not on the list too.
Let me know if anyone's interested. I'm thinking we can do it on a Friday night once a month or whatever works best for everyone.

Andrew, if you drive seven hours you are guaranteed the most comfortable chair in the house & you drink for free. :)
Let's plan on having our first screening in early April. Does a weekday (Thursday or Sunday) or weekend (Friday or Saturday) work best?

In all seriousness, it may very well happen. I recently got engaged. We are being admonished by both sides to chill out on time we spend together.
It would have to be Fri/Sat for me.

Jay, we could do my house, too — I've got a big flat televison AND two cats! We're in Burlington, within stumbling distance from everything.

Nice...I haven't seen any of the docs you listed & now I want to. The new Townes Van Zandt and Leonard Cohen docs are also on my "to see" list.
