SOLAHFILMS RIDES AGAIN!

So it looks like I may be screening some of my experimental film work in town soon! I just got off the phone with Ian who organizes the experimental film night at the Kriya Studio, and he's excited to have me help out with some of the technical demands as well as show some of my work.

The Kriya Studio is on North Winooski, behind World Market & the laudromat. I met Kriya's founder Julia through a mutual friend when she was trying to raise funds for the studio via an art auction and I donated a few of my paintings. I love the idea of small, homegrown art venues and it sounds like Kriya is becoming a hip place for new local musicians, artists & scenesters to come together & strut their stuff.

So far all I know is that the experimental film night will be every Thursday evening, but I will post more details as I get them. It should be a great opportunity to see some alternative cinema, which is an art form that is far too underappreciated and underrepresented in this area--hope to see you there!

You definitely should talk with Julia, Greg--I'm sure she would love to have you do some shows there.

Have you ever had an interest in doing a multimedia piece? I'd love to do a collaborative piece and project visuals during one of your performances. Let me know if this is something you may be interested in doing.
