I was first introduced to Peter Rose's films via my film professor Simon Tarr. He's a very unique experimental filmmaker in that he is often more interested in content (usually linguistic ruminations) than form, but still manages to blend the two to make for a uniquely cinematic work of art. And they're also funny as hell, especially "The Pressures of the Text".
